# Cover

`<Cover>` builds a centered title slide: an optional badge, the title, a subtitle and a line with
the author, organization and date. Each part fades in after the previous one. In Markdown, the
`cover` layout gives the same result with plain headings.

## Live demo

<StoryEmbed slug="cover" />

## Syntax

```md title="Markdown (cover layout)"
--- layout=cover
# Lorem ipsum
### Dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit
:badge[v0.1]{type=primary}
```

```mdx title="MDX"
<Cover
  badge="v0.1"
  title="Lorem ipsum"
  subtitle="Dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit"
  author="Lorem Ipsum"
  organization="Dolor Studio"
  date="2026"
